Dining out? The Barley Sheaf offers a good menu in it's new restaurant, but during winter, meals must be booked in advance by phoning Jim or Sally on 01208 72716. Alternatively, within 200 yards of the front door there are an Indian, a Fish and Chip restaurant and a Chinese take-away. If this isn't what you want then a short walk to the town centre will bring you into contact  with many other types of eating establishments that might be more suitable, and none that cost you a mortgage!
