in Folk Club welcomes the return of two good Friends to the club, Barbara and Peter Snape.
Peter and Barbara have a great love for the traditional songs and tunes of the British Isles, not least from their own area of the North West England. Their musicality is informed by extensive research – as you will see if you can get to one of their presentations of The Gilchrist Collective, or Cotton Town Chronicles. This talented duo will again give us an evening of the finest melodeon playing and songs which may range from poignant to hilarious, but always delivered with panache. A really great evening of superb songs and playing is guaranteed.
The club meets in an upstairs room but there is a stair lift if required. We have no bar so byo, but we do a great line in tea and biscuits
